Has anyone else got AMD graphics drivers - appears to be the source of my game freezes.

Anyone have similar problems ?

are you using windows 10 ?

you can try running drivers in compatability mode

Hi Duncan, yes I have Windows 10 (64 bit) and I have recently changed Perfect Golf compatibility to Windows 8 but the game freezes persist.

I have tried many fixes but nothing works. I have narrowed the problem down to either 1) AMD graphics drivers or 2) possible intermittent internet drop outs.

To try and fix the issue I have done the following :

1) Run Windows Memory Diagnostics
2) Switched the Windows Game Mode to OFF
3) Run Cleaning Image - Restore Health
4) Run sfc/ scannow to check for corrupt system files
5) Increased Virtual Memory
6) Checked again that all drivers are up to date
7) Watched 3 Youtube videos relating to game freezes
8) Run Resource and Performance Monitor which is a system diagnostics program to check any critical errors.
9) Set Perfect Golf to Windows 8 compatibility
10) Tried different settings in AMD software
11) Used Game Booster Pro

Had a look at the video and tried the suggestions but unfortunately the problem persists

I always use Nvidia card lol.

I can assure you my next PC will definitely be one with a Nvidia card
