Cutoff times.

Started my fourth of the PGA 18 well before the cutoff time and finished 15 minutes after. That really sucks that my score didn't count, hence neither did the tourney. All for waste but I guess rules are rules. I would think that as long as your round started before cutoff it would count. Cost me a trophy as well.

New here Mark. Wasn't aware that you can start a tourney before the cutoff time and not have it count.

That's a bit unfair.

We have to set when our tournies open and close. You should always check you have time to play it within those times.

I don't think it's unfair at all. I started 15 mins before the cutoff time and my round didn't count. If NBC broadcasts a final tourney and the last group doesn't finish before NBC cuts off programming... should the last group's scores count? Look, I know there are some restrictions of what is possible with this game, but it's a bit frustrating to actually win the tournament only to see it doesn't count because I was on the course finishing when the silent blow horn sounded.

And hence the reason I won't play here.

Ok. Sorry to hear that our inflexibility has meant you take your game elsewhere.

We hold all of our rules and procedures hard and fast, without any flexibility, because to do so would invite accusations of favoritism, and also make the normal operation of the events unworkable.

The same rule on showing up and playing, in time to catch the Marker before he calls it a day and goes to have supper with his wife, is just one of those things.

Good luck in finding any tour provider which will allow you to play on after an event has finished.
