I've always played 3c and from the very first day this game came out I've struggled with a stuttering swing meter. Over the years I've had 3 laptops and 3 service providers. Tried most of the suggested fix's to no avail. My computer skills are very limited so I very seldom click on anything I don't understand. Last week I went on Steam, clicked settings then clicked Interface, then checked the box for Enable GPU accelerated rendering. Did just a little research and it seems this takes some load off the CPU. It's only been a week but the meter is smooth as can be. Almost perfect. I have no idea if it will last but for now its great. If you have a decent GPU this may help. By the way my game is no better for it... maybe worse. lol.

I think that setting is for the Steam web interface rather than any games you have installed.

Try adjusting VSYNC in PG. There are 3 settings, one of which is off.

My meter also stutters from time to time - a few times per game - Mark, I opened my PG settings on Steam but could find nothing like a VSYNC on the site - where do I find it?

Yes, Vsync is found in PG under SETTINGS, GRAPHICS, QUALITY.

Mine is on "Every frame".

I concur. Mine is also set to "every frame". Doesn't hurt to have a 144hz, 1ms refresh rate monitor either.

Found it - will try the new setting - thanks, guys! :-)

So far, new setting seems to work - no stutters last game on Stableford - note the 28 points score! LOL - a new personal record!
