Hi,

Is there a way to change the location of the JNPG Courses folder? Perhaps in the Launch Options? I would like to move it to a different drive.

Thanks.

I myself have my steam folder on my data drive and not my boot drive.
so yes you can change it but you have to change the entire steam folder.

Thanks, but I'd prefer not to move the whole Steam folder if possible, just the Courses folder.

if you remove that folder without moving the entire steam folder I really
doubt if it would work and every time you log onto steam it would just replace the folder in the Steam folder
so you would get nowhere doing it without moving the entire steam folder.

Marks the one to ask....he helped me link 2 folders together...i think using xcopy in command prompt....i have this still, both folders are on D drive by the way as my C drive is quite small...not sure if this works between 2 drives, if i ever delete steam or PG the courses will be safe in other folder.....just remembered it called a symbolic link.....the course folder in my PG has a blue arrow bottom left linking it to the other course folder....

Thanks for the reply, NIBNOB. I use a Mac so the Win hack won't work for me. I did just find something about a Symlink for Mac that I'll try, though.

On a Mac they are called "Aliases" which would save you having to re-install PG/Steam.

Yeah, I tried an Alias. That didn't work. NIBNOB got me pointed in the right direction with the Symbolic Link. There's a Mac version called Symlink and that did work. Thanks anyway.

BTW, now that I've resolved this, how do I delete this topic? Thanks.

You can't. It can remain here for future reference.
