I'm starting this midweek game in the hope that others will join me. Its sometimes hard to find a game because you never know when people will be around to join you, so thought that if people knew there was a game on then they would join

The game will start at 7.30 GMT on a Wednesday night

The format I am suggesting will be a Stableford game. Any amount of players can join if more than 4 we can go out in two groups. Stableford points for each player will be carried over to the next week and I will keep a record and post it in this thread each week.

I hope people will join and if succesful we could have a ALT Shot game night on a different night of the week

Just to give an indication of how many will start at 7.30 Wednesday 7th Dec could u add you name to this thread. the opening course will be Brandon Dunes

Introducing the Mid Week Game...

This is just a friendly fun game I'm setting up every Wednesday for anyone who want to join me. Format will be a Stasbleford game and points will be forward on to ther next weeks game each week. We will go out in groups of 2,3 and 4 depending how many turn up. Someone from each group will then message me with the points from there group and I will report scores for the week in this thread

Week 5

The First months Mid Week Game I'd like to think as been a success with 4 origional plays staying with it. I tried to make it a fun, high scoring game by putting the players on the back tees rather than the usual champ tees to allow players to reach greens with long drives so that putting skills came to the fore.
The setting up of conditions was a pain because the game reset itself if you were not carefull, but hopefully a means to set up in advance allowing players to tee off with a click, may be not too far away.
I will continue to use this formula in the new year and hopefully more players will give it a try and enjoy it as much as we have

Well Done to Kennettharry for being our first player of the year. We will start afresh in January and hopefully at the end of the year all winners will be involved in a final to decide Mid Weeks Player Of The Year
