A point re Celtic Manor if the Designer should happen to read:

Hole 10 is a Par 3 - no problem during Stableford as we all had the same, but just for correctness.

Overall, I think it's a very good rendition of the course, was lucky enough to play there the year before the Ryder Cup and it brought back some memories, though on JNPG, I saw a lot more of the fairway!!

Couple of height things if the Designer is looking to improve/make more accurate to the real thing:

Hole 10, the Tee box is raised quite a bit, it's a real shoot it up in the air and wait for it to land.

Hole 18, the slope towards the water in front of the green is more pronounced with the green set up and cut into a bank. Means there is a big roll off from front of green to the water if you come up short.

Just suggestions, like I said, enjoyed the round, thanks for taking the time to create it.

Andy

These notes have now been fed back to the designer.

Please can we try to keep all designer notes within the beta testing forum.

To feedback your observations directly to the designer for the courses we carry from the http://jnpg-course-depot.proboards.com/ you can join the board there and use the Messages link at top of page to send a PM directly.

Hi Thanks for the feed back on Celtic Manor, I knew I had made a boo boo on hole 10 and had made it a par 4 by mistake but was so fed up play testing i forgot to amend it before publishing it.

Then was getting grief from another site for not jumping through there hoops and getting it tested with them, and from a MAC owner that the trees were pink (i got that sorted)
I forgot it again so said sod it hole 10 is stopping a par 4.

As far as the elevations I did not have any Lidar data so the course is correct in layout only ( from google earth overlay) and from memory of playing it on EA sports TW series.

Plus all the Unity files i used to make the course are floating about in the ethos of space since the hard drive they were backed up to went belly up lol, so i'm afraid what we have we are stuck with, but it still plays OK I think

Thanks Dom
