Both of these drives are internal drives. The C::Drive has Windows 10 and installed programs. The second drive is a SATA III drive to which I make backups of courses files, data files, personal files etc. You can see the transfer rate for courses going from the SATA III SSD to the nVME M.2 SSD is 4 to 5 times faster than an HDD. I have used SSDs for 10 years, and upgraded along the way.

The best thing you can do to make your computer perform faster than it ever has with it's Hard Drive (older motherboards) is to acquire a SATA III SSD at whatever storage capacity you like. Then clone your HDD to the SSD using free software like Macrium Reflex Free version. You will love your computer's performance beyond anything you could have imagined. (for DIY users)

Most of you know I an a remote support expert on Windows Operating Systems. Many people, golfers in particular, have used my service since 2006. Yes, I make some coinage from my service but it's far less expensive than a tech-store charges, plus your computer and you stay home.

Disclaimer: Though Mark (site owner) knows about my service and knows people who have used it, I have never asked him to endorse my service. You simply need to start a conversation in this topic to learn who has used my service (if they are still here) and will share their experience with you. Or simply contact me with your Phone number and I will call you ASAP.

I am retired but it's still fun for me to troubleshoot Windows Personal Computers around the world. :read:
