Hey Mark,
David and I were playing greensomes and my tee was in fairway when he hit his in the water. I was host and we tired to resume per the correct procedure, but it left us with this (see pic below). I guess we need a reset for the hole because there was no way to advance:

Something didn't work. When we resumed per the proper procedure, this is what we had:



We both hit and we chose mine because the first time we tee'd off my ball was the ball that was put in play. In hindsight that could have been a mistake because it was giving me the rehit penalty on the tee. This is reflected in the second screen shot. Maybe if we had selected David's ball there would have been no penalty?


Anyway, we got up and down on hole 16 and the game scored us a par. That is the correct score if you factor in the penalty.

We took our medicine and moved on, but in the end we were were given 2 penalty strokes. At worst there should only be one penalty stroke.

Whew, what a mess

I've removed the 2 penalty strokes.
