PGLS

The Tournaments screen in PG has three tabs, Official, Public, and Private. PGLS tournaments always appear under Public.

What about the other two? There are usually four tournaments under the Official tab. Has anyone tried participating in any of these? Private is empty whenever I've checked, and I suppose there's a way to set one up, but I couldn't find a way to do it offhand. How is that supposed to work?

The TOURNAMENTS tab is the official 4 tournies that Perfect Parallel set up but haven't been updated in years. Sometimes they refuse to show at all there. The PRIVATE tab was used by another club called OGT.

All 3 tabs can only be used by clubs using the API like we do at PGLS.

The private tab was also ment for the official Golf Clubs (http://social.perfectparallel.com/) which never really got online because the API didn't work. Once we created a tournament it effected the OGT Tournaments. As so many things, Andrew never fixed the problems :(

Is there any documentation for the API? I'd be curious to look at it even if I don't do much with it. (I already tried browsing around perfectparallel.com. Today it seems most pages were throwing errors, but I've searched the site a couple of times before when it was working better and still couldn't find anything.)

Mark here at PGLS is the only one other than PP with access to the API and I am sure that will stay as it is.
the only reason this game is still alive is due to Mark and the PGLS.
thanks to him we still got a place to hangout and the game.
