Course issue

There was an issue with the "The National Golf Links of America" course in that Hole 4 was unfinishable. Players were seeing the ball "pop out" or PG states it's been putted out but the player is put back on the green a few inches away from the hole, with the ball missing.
I've therefore changed the Pin Position for Round 1 and tested it works. All resumes have been cleared so players can start again.

That is very strange as I tested it before I set it up and it was positioned as an "easy" pin.

OK played it again and from 3+ feet it jumps out of the hole. Strange but "you know what" happens! Please make a note in the course folder Mark .

Course notes have been added but I did test Hole 4 with the new Pin Position successfully.

I had a similar issue. After holing a short putt I suddenly found myself standing right over the hole and expecting to play a chip shot with no ball in sight.

I have ended up quitting this week after another problem on hole 4. I was in the rough down the side of an embankment and after playing a chip shot 4 times the ball kept sticking in the rough and not moving. Game over.

I will talk to Mark and perhaps do a remake on a differen course for PG Classics.

Could you please be a bit more specific as to where the ball was. I have tried for the last 30 mins on both sides of hole 4 in many places in the rough, deep rough and fairway and did not have or could not replicate your problem.

I was in the rough on the left hand side of the green 38yards out and in pretty much direct line with the pin. I tried chip shots with increasing strength at least 4 or 5 times but the ball just trickled forward and back without really moving. Unfortunately I can't send you a screen shot of where I am because I ended playing a pitch shot which landed 31 feet from the hole. If I continued I would now be playing my 9th shot on a par 3 hole (if that even went in) so not much point continuing when you lose 7 shots on just one hole.

A possible solution would be for Mark to reset you back on the tee of the 4th hole.
