Haven't played for a long time and a lot seems to have changed. How do i get the courses that you now play? My netid is 765611980068677309 if this is what you require?

We already have your Steam ID so you are good to go.

You can download individual courses from here ...

pgcourses.php?sort=latest

or you can download courses in bulk depending on whatever letter of the alphabet you choose ...

There seems to be a lot more courses now-how many GB do they use on a pc? Which are the most popular courses? How do I download them and to what folder?

If you download every course currently available via this site, the courses folder will be about 110GB.

Please see the following thread to make certain you have the correct versions of Royal Birkdale, Royal Troon, and Sedgefield CC Ross:

That said, you could just download each course you don't already have as it comes up in tournaments you want to play (or just because you want to play it). I did that the first several months I played and had no issues.

Tried course checker and found 54 are OK and 449 not installed or need updating. I've tried to download some but they don't seem to go into the course folder?

Where do your downloads go normally? Check that folder. The downloads are .zip files which you will need to unpack into your course folder. You should be able to open the .zip files in Windows Explorer, then click and drag that inner folder to the Courses folder.

Ah I forgot they were zip files, now I've got them properly in the course file. I think I'll download them as they appear in the tourneys if they're missing. Thank you for your help.

As I've returned, my playing isn't as good as it was as you can see from my scores on the tourneys. Will I get a handicap again as a hacker?

Your handicap will continue where it left off as a Hacker.
