That link will take you to the Tour Pro league. I am doing some testing to see if an idea works and will set up a Pro and Amateur one in due course.

I have taken most active 8 players from last 8 weeks just to start with.

Basically, play the PGA 9 event and your scores for each round are put against your opponent. After 4 rounds, lowest total score gets a win and 5pts and a draw 3pts each.

For each round, your head to head scores are counted and each "mini win" will get 2pts and a draw 1pt. So a good round may get you a point even if you lost overall, could matter in the table!

An example taking week 36, let's say Mmmduff1 v scienceguy18

round 1 - mm 32, science 29 so 2pts to science
round 2 - mm 32, science 35 so 2pts to mm
round 3 - both scored 31 so 1pt each
round 4 - both scored 33 so 1pt each

Overall it was a tie 128 v 128 so 3pts each

Total - Mmmduff1 7pts v scienceguy18 7pts

Challonge does it all, I just got to pen type in the round scores.

If you like this sort of thing, it just makes your 9 hole rounds that more important, if you don't care, then no need to click on the link, as you were..

I enjoy doing this sort of thing, hope you guys enjoy the little extras to PGLS.

The leagues have been updated for week 1 - another rule that I forgot - if a player does not play a round, they lose 0-1 for each round missed. Is it totally fair for the others that had to play to win..probably not totally, but the lucky winner only gets a +1 for each round and likelihood is other players will gain in another week.

I have updated the test leagues for this week, but I am not going to continue with them...to many flaws and with people joining all the time, seems unfair to leave people out.

A worthwhile test even if to count something out...the Cups will stay though, think they work fine for those interested as you have to have played quite well to qualify for the following week.
