Plugged lie

I'm guessing nothing can be done about this, but if you plug your 1st shot in the sand, it appears most of the time your 2nd shot is also going to be plugged...is there a work around for this?
It's an annoying bug that we can't do anything about unfortunately.
You will also find that not every plugged ball will behave like it was plugged making the shot a bit of a lottery.
