unable to play

After I deleted a previous player . The game will not load my normal named player . Also I have a giant golf ball in the clothing and club settings . Add to that when I try to load a game with the computer player it has the wheel of no connection .
I have tried validating and restarting the PC . Can you uninstall and reinstall without having to pay again ?

If you have tried to validate the PG files then uninstalling and reinstalling PG may be an option. Remember to backup your courses folder if you have a lot of them.

You would install PG via your Steam account which when logged into it should be listed.

Hi Mark I did the uninstall and reinstall . Same problem . I am unable to set my name , level , clubs or ball . When trying to set my name it just reverts back to player every time .This is 3 screenshots .
Would it be better to uninstall the game and then uninstall everything left on the computer . Guessing this should be a clean install .

Have you tried clicking on "ADD PLAYER" and setting it as the default?

Screenshot as you advised . I have uninstalled and reinstalled . Then again but this time removed everything from the PG folder. Even though I have set my level to professional it resets me to beginner .

Okay delete the player called "Player".

Close PG.

Re-open PG and create a new player but call it anything else but "Player".

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work . I have had a windows 11 update maybe that threw the game a shoe .
When I did as you said I keep getting the same names back .As you can see on the screenshots . I did manage to play a couple of holes in beginners mode . Do I have to do a round in each to get back to professional . Doesn't explain the name problem though .
Thanks for your perseverance . Great game and I would miss it if I couldn't play it
