anyway the last hole - has a green at the end of the fairway and this is not the green and flag to go for the pin is on the other side of a tree that blocks fairway ... this tree is at the end of the 18th fairway and then there is a green on the other side of the tree .. it is a par 5 perhaps one is suppose to lay up near the tree then punch under it to get on fairway ...

The 18th hole fairway is the right hand one and not the left one in the overhead view ...


I think you must have hit your ball down the left fairway, which is the 9th hole. the green of which is in front of the tree you mentioned.
