Don't agree with you there, having to play more rounds to ensure moving down a level may well discourage it. We can agree to disagree.
You have definitely made it a lot easier for a player to play in 2 tournaments a month and continue to score well in them month after month without going up where as before a player could not do that.

I know, that's why I allowed 20mins per round, not the 12 I take.
you need a reality check mate try getting seasider playing 9 holes in 20 minutes.

We get about 1-2 requests to move up a level per month. If a player wants to play higher irrespective of their scoring, why not? If you read the rules, the top and bottom extremes are ignored and the more players at a level, the more scores ignored.
Irrelevant Andy even 2 players is 2 too many, ignoring top and bottom extremes well them 2 not been there would mean another 2 at top or bottom would have been ignored hence changing the stats.

Letting players move up a Tier is not the same as allowing all to play at their chosen level.
Really? Have they not chosen to play at a higher level? so its ok for those who wish to play at a higher level but not those who wish to play at a lower level? Bit of discrimination going on here.

.which for the umpteenth time, was voted quite categorically against.
Yes that was a farce also i have a screenshot of a member saying a mod was out rallying for votes against it, and you yourself said this

Shame that not even the number of people who have signed up have placed a vote..though I suppose not having a view either is fine too.
But like you say that has gone now, bit like the arguments about the Stableford 9 points change.

I've known Charlie for many years, the notion he is a sandbagger doesn't apply at all.
What he is saying is, he likes playing at pro and not tour pro. I feel the same way. It isn't sandbagging if you want to enjoy the game as you prefer.
I do practice allot at TP and the only thing different for me is the aiming and views. I don't do any worst or any better at TP, I just prefer pro settings better for the enjoyment.
I agree that a few have the nack for the game and congrats but if you want to shake up the leader-boards let the players decide if they would like to play at Pro.
A good question to ask is "just how much if any would a TP score at Pro ?"

Interesting Randy, not played at Pro since about 2016 when alternate weeks were for Pro then Amateur. I thought, though not ever proven or confirmed, that the penalties for missed snap and wind effects were greater at TP?
Like I say, don't know for sure.

i didnt find playing at tp that much different than playing at pro except the aiming which in my opinion just slows things down.

So everyone would be happy for me to play Pro then? (if my scores allowed of course

)
