I have two computers set up. One is about 3 months old and was upgraded to windows 11, which I did not authorize, a few weeks ago. I noticed today that my Tour Pro Player is wearing different clothes on each of the two computers. Before, the game would always have both computers having the same apparel on. Is that strange or normal?

Microsoft leaks on Windows 11 updates

Microsoft leaks on Windows 11 updates. I read a couple articles that the Dev-Team for Windows 11 (huge amount of people) have taken many of the criticisms and suggestions though the Feed-back Hub to heart. They (the team) want avoid another crisis like Windows 8 and 8.1. The Team wants to return most of the features to the Taskbar and give us options on the right-click main Context Menu, the Taskbar Context Menu and files and folders Context Menu. Hundreds of thousands of us around the world in many languages use the Feed Back Hub which is a wonderful way to reaching the Dev-Team directly. From a users perspective I sent eight messages to them about areas of W11 that were "dumbed-down", obscure and non-productive for Advanced Windows users.

I am in no hurry to reinstall W11 because it's a "dead fish" to me. When and if the changes take place in early 2022 and I see videos posted at YouTube verifying these changes and reading responses at on Microsoft's Tech Sites, only then will I create a new installation Flash Drive using the installation tool Microsoft has been using since Windows 7. The link below brings you directly to Windows 11 download site. (if you're curious)

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... /windows11

I now have two months of experimenting with W11 and have a head-start to be able to help people around the world through remote sessions to get their W11 optimized and customized.

Many thanks for the info you provided. I agree there are several issues they need to sort out before I will be ready to install it. I look forward with interest for any updates you hear about.

Yesterday when I started PG, Steam said that it is unable to connect to the steam cloud. I guess that is why you had different clothes. Not sure if this is W11 related but I think that other friends had the same problem and I know they are on W10 still. Check if steam is connected to the cloud where your settings are saved.

This is not a W7, W10 or W11 issue. Clothes can go back to default settings when Steam suddenly disconnects or the lobby/tournament page interface in Steam does not load properly. It has been a Steam-sync issue since 2014.

I can empathize with how everyone feels when this happens. :hmmm:

One blogger I follow has brought up reports of early W11 users having difficulty changing their default browser from Edge to Google Chrome. It's hard to find/change the setting, and sometimes opens links in Edge anyway even after users made the change. There have also been reports of W11 throwing roadblocks in the way of users downloading and installing Google Chrome (no idea if the same issue exists with Firefox). The whole situation harkens back to W95 days and the browser wars between Internet Explorer and Netscape (in that case while Microsoft was the worse offender, Netscape wasn't without guilt).

This problem and the Taskbar issues are why I am waiting to upgrade to W11 again. It's just too filled with unsatisfactory behavior for experienced Windows users.
