Due to two apps and a regedit, I am using Windows 11 now.
1. ExplorerPatcher from Github
2. Start11 from Stardock

The regedit enables full context menus. The right click on a file, the desktop and the Taskbar.

Other than the above there is no compelling reason to upgrade to W11, at least not at this time. I need to know about W11 because of my remote support service. I have practiced with it for three months now - both (with and without) the apps and regedit(s).

Fortunately there are coders/engineers to create hacks and apps to repair missing and flawed features in new Windows Operating Systems. :good:

loaded on both gaming machines yesterday. I have no issues whatsoever with it.
I say when your time comes go ahead and get it installed. I know I like to keep the freshest thing going.
I like the new taskbar seems to be more room for more apps on it. other than that I notice no major changes.

I also had been holding off on installing Windows 11 but am now using it and seems to work fine.

Hasn't improved my golf game yet though.

I bought a new computer about 6 weeks ago with windows 11. I have had zero issues. Maybe it only happens when you upgrade?

Windows 11 will run PG easily. If you are upgrading W10 from Windows Updates then you will be in good shape (probability 99%). However, if you are not an advanced user and download W11 and use an ISO you may get into trouble.

Best advice from me: Use Windows Updates to upgrade to W11. Or, go to W11 download page and use the Install Tool to create a W11 Flash Drive.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... /windows11

Once the Flash Drive has the Installation files installed, open the Flash Drive and double click on the Setup file, that's it. This is all done from the Desktop Home page. The upgrade will take a long time with an HDD but with an SSD either SATA III or PCIe M.2 the process will take half the time.

Good luck to anyone who reads this. :read:

I just downloaded and installed it 2 weeks ago the taskbar is the same and all programs are there and PG worked fine after verification download. Other than that dont see any difference from W10. It also told me ages ago my machine wasnt compatible but apparently now its ok go figure. They must be trying to get people to use it.
