We need a Solution for all

The holiday season is approaching, so I would like to use this time to talk to everyone about how we can "together" find a solution to the following "problem" for discussion. I will use the current PGLS Open.
There are currently 40 players playing this tournament and the cut is currently - 134 strokes after two rounds. As the top 5 players have scores of - 115 strokes to - 126 strokes after two rounds, "normal" players with scores of - 135 strokes on average after two rounds have no chance of playing in the remaining matches, even though their scores would normally go further in any regular, real tournament.
I really ask myself now, does it make sense to continue playing tournaments where you basically never have a chance, because 5-6 players distort the cuts for everyone else to such an extent that normal players no longer have a chance to continue playing?
I would therefore like to ask the community for all the "normal" players how we can work together to regulate this "unfairness". Having to live with this "grievance" in the long term is now just frustrating for me and I personally find this situation unacceptable in the long term. Let's work together with Mark to find a solution that satisfies everyone before more and more players leave PGLS out of frustration.
With this in mind, I would ask everyone to have an objective discussion.
