I found this on another thread and it worked...
it was the bottom setting in my graphics, "pause render on swing", this makes the swing meter not show up

So apparently it's a bug in the game settings

used both edge and chrome and the PP page came up with the error 'sorry we couldn't find that'
maybe u have a cached page.
and I did a clean install of perfect golf.
Also, I discovered I can get the meter back for ONE swing if I hit the flyover icon.
i've made some dunderhead moves on computers ...

What a waste of money. I can't even play the game.

I had to uninstall and re-install and now I have no way to swing.
There is no swing meter showing and it happens on all courses.
any ideas? I did check and made sure defaults were selected in the settings and it shows swing meter but again it never shows on the screen when u go to take a shot

I wouldn't have a problem with that. Also, I have been trying to install this on a win 11 laptop so I got my win 10 laptop out and installed PG on that with the SAME result so I'm pretty sure it isn't my system

I guess I'm SOL. I uninstalled, rebooted then re-installed.
Same DAMN result. Only a few courses show playable. I downloaded Pebble beach (2 courses) and Augusta National. None of them show up on the courses screen at all.
They ARE in the courses folder and the course checker shows them validated ...

no but I will uninstall PG and re-install and I'll get back.

ok, I rebooted after everything I tried and still have problems.
I ran the course checker and it showed around 36 validated courses
When I go to play a game there are only 20 courses showing and only 4 are playable. the others pop up the dialog in my other post.

I'm getting real frustrated here.
I am extracting the folder and copying that folder to my courses folder. So I know that is right.
There are only 16 courses that show up when I try to play a solo game and none of them work.
I can Play the practice range tho
EVERY course that shows up on the screen ...
