PairUp 9
Welcome to the PairUp 9 tourney where you and your partner, as part of a team, play 4 rounds of 9 holes in Alt Shot Stroke Play format, for a chance to be in the Top 50 to earn yourself some Order of Merit points !!

The PairUp 9 tourney is played from Friday 00:00:00 (Week 1) to Wednesday 23:59:59 (Week 2) GMT/BST, a total of 13 days.

If you wish to take part simply just play it and you will be added to the leaderboard as long as neither player in your team is already on the leaderboard with another player. If this happens you will see *DQ* against your team on the in-game leaderboard right from the 1st hole being completed. Your teams score will not count if you ignore this warning and complete the round.

IMPORTANT
Please make sure you have checked that your Steam ID is valid and that you are using a player that is set to the same level as your PGLS Level. If it isn't then you may not be able to start the PairUp 9 tourney or it will not record your teams score once you have completed the round.

Take a look at the following forum topic to see how to set your PLAYER correctly in the PG game

Setting PG player level

If you invite players to a round, they need to also make sure that they have signed up to PGLS, have a valid Steam ID and that they are using a player that is set to the same level as their PGLS Level, otherwise again it will not record your teams score once you have completed the round.

All settings for each round are set by the Perfect Golf API system. Details on this can be found below in the How it works section

Rounds can be played with your team on its own or with other teams up to a maximum of 4. Teams are able to play along with other teams in any round they have already completed. However that teams score will not be counted.

Each round can be played in any order. This should help get matches played to fit in with other teams who are available to play at the same time as you. This can be done by joining a hosted match or if you want to host a particular round use the PGLS Round Selector ...

PGLS Round Selector

You must complete all 4 rounds to receive 'Order of Merit' points. Teams in the Top 50 will get 'Order of Merit' points based on each players level as found on the following page ...

Tourney Points

Each team player receives 50% of the total pot. In the event of a tie the 'Order of Merit' points are split evenly between the teams involved.
