The Divisions
Welcome to The Divisions, a Gross score league system with promotions and relegations to keep the leagues fluid.

You play one 9 hole round, which is open for 4 days and 5 rounds per month with a day break between rounds.

Simply play as many as you can/want to and each round score will be subtracted from 50 to give you a points score for each round (eg. You shoot a 32. This is subtracted from 50 to give you 18 points and if you shoot 50 or over, you will simply receive 1 point, no minus points here). All 5 rounds points are added together and the table is sorted using the total from highest to lowest.

The top 4 from each Division (apart from Division 1) will be promoted and the bottom 4 will be relegated. Tie breakers are in the following order ... highest number of Albatrosses, highest number of Eagles, highest number of Birdies, lowest number of Bogeys and finally lowest number of Double Bogeys + each player has.

Players not playing at least 1 round per month will be removed from the Divisions.

Players not in a Division can take part and will be added to the Feeder Division pending being added into a Division the following month. Players can play with anyone in any Division.

Gold Cup
The Gold Cup is open to the top 32 players, seeded by total points from the previous months competition regardless of division, excluding teams with zero points totals. The Silver Cup is open to the players from position 33 to 64, seeded by total points from the previous months competition regardless of division, excluding teams with zero points totals.
IMPORTANT
Please make sure you have checked that your Steam ID is valid and that you are using a player that is set to the same level as your PGLS Level. If it isn't then you may not be able to start the The Divisions tourney or it will not record the score once you have completed the round.

Take a look at the following forum topic to see how to set your PLAYER correctly in the PG game

Setting PG player level

If you invite players to a round, they need to also make sure that they have signed up to PGLS, have a valid Steam ID and that they are using a player that is set to the same level as their PGLS Level, otherwise they will also be unable to have their score added to the The Divisions tourney.

All settings for each round are set by the Perfect Golf API system. Details on this can be found below in the How it works section.

Rounds can be played solo or with others whether or not they are in your division, up to a maximum of 8. Players are able to play along with others in a Period they have already completed. However their scores will not be counted.

How it works
All matches can only be played directly from the Perfect Golf game. To do so please click on TOURNAMENTS down the left, then click on PUBLIC.

You will then see the The Divisions tourney listed and the current Period to be played. All rounds are resumable which is indicated against each round with Resume.

You can stream / record your round on Twitch TV if you like. Click the following link on how to do this ...
