The Divisions (PairUp)
Welcome to The Divisions (PairUp), a Gross score league system for teams with promotions and relegations to keep the leagues fluid.

Your team plays one 18 hole round, which is open for 4 days and 5 rounds per month with a day break between rounds. Formats for each period will vary between Alternate Shot, Greensomes and Scramble.

Creating a team
If you would like to take part you must first create a team. This can be done via the following page ...

Create Team

Name your team as you wish, but please use a bit of common sense when doing so. Select your team player from the list and finally click Create Team. Please note the list only contains players that are not already in a team.

Simply play as many as your team can/want to and each round score will be subtracted from 100 to give your team a points score for each round (eg. Your team shoots a 64. This is subtracted from 100 to give your team 36 points and if your team shoots 100 or over, you will simply receive 1 point, no minus points here). All 5 rounds points are added together and the table is sorted using the total from highest to lowest.

The top 2 teams from each Division (apart from Division 1) will be promoted and the bottom 2 will be relegated. Tie breakers are in the following order ... Highest number of Albatrosses, highest number of Eagles, highest number of Birdies, lowest number of Bogeys and finally the lowest number of Double Bogeys + each team have. The team winning Division 1 will be crowned the champions for that month.

Teams not in a Division can take part and will be added to the Feeder Division pending being added into a Division the following month. Teams can play with anyone in any Division they like.

The Divisions (PairUp) Cup
The Divisions (PairUp) Cup is open to the top 32 teams, seeded by total points from the previous months competition, excluding teams with zero points totals.

Please make sure you have checked that your Steam ID is valid and that you are using a player that is set to the same level as your PGLS Level. If it isn't then you may not be able to start the The Divisions (PairUp) tourney or it will not record the score once your team has completed the round.

Take a look at the following forum topic to see how to set your PLAYER correctly in the PG game

Setting PG player level

If you invite players to a round, they need to also make sure that they have signed up to PGLS, have a valid Steam ID and that they are using a player that is set to the same level as their PGLS Level, otherwise they will also be unable to have their teams score added to the The Divisions (PairUp) tourney.

All settings for each round are set by the Perfect Golf API system. Details on this can be found below in the How it works section.

Rounds can be played with just 1 team or with others whether or not they are in your division, up to a maximum of 4. Teams are able to play along with others in a Period they have already completed, however their scores will not be counted.

How it works
All matches can only be played directly from the Perfect Golf game. To do so please click on TOURNAMENTS down the left, then click on PUBLIC.

You will then see the The Divisions tourney listed and the current Period to be played. All rounds are resumable which is indicated against each round with Resume.

You can stream / record your round on Twitch TV if you like. Click the following link on how to do this ...
