Kiawah Ocean

So lets just turn on realistic greens, it would balance out the weird breaks on some of these putts. Got to be in close to the pins so you can hammer it in but with that wind in your face its difficult. Need to take advantage of the downwind holes. Great test of golf for a major.

Re: HOW TO : Fine tune Nvidia cards

Did all this successfully and man was it sharp. Too sharp in my opinion. I tinkered with several setting numbers and finally set it for 0.7 sharp and 0.1 grainy as best for me. Swing meter was easier to see.

Re: What's Your Nemesis ?

Pins on the edge of a false front green and hitting shots that roll back to your feet again and again and again. Glitches in the swing meter that happen and cause extremely early snaps and wild hooks or alternatively a late sliding snap and a wild slice. A putt left 0 inches short...grrr. I have ...

Re: Gimmie concern

Happens to me a lot. Mostly due to my post screen set to 1 sec. If I'm just a bit late to click on the gimme it will show me putting on the next screen which then adds that extra putt. My only resolution to prevent this is set my post screen time to 2 seconds which gives me enough time to click the ...

Re: Course Updates?

But...I will assume that we need to hold latest versions of both 3DG and non-3DG versions of the same course?

We try to keep both the 3DG version and non-3DG version of a course because of issues with lag on the 3DG version. When we set tournies we actively try to avoid 3DG versions.

So why ...

Media Heights

Is there something different with the latest course media heights? 709 MB is by far the largest course in the JPNG family. It may take an hour to download and then I dont think it will load and play on my feeble computer. Just wondering what would cause a course to be this big.
