I have experimented with all drivers released after 436.15. I have found the newest drivers to be less stable in JNPG. In case you are finding (new) odd behaviors during game play, doing a manual download of 436.15 then a custom and clean install may just cure those new problems. I personally leave out the HD audio driver and the GeForce experience when I install GeForce Drivers.
You can click the screenie below and it will take you to the manual download/search page for your particular GeForce card.
The red X indicates each driver I tried and found it not to be as good/stable as 436.15.

This might be relevant to some players like Steve (Just Jolly) with lower end spec PC's.

Re: GeForce Driver: 436.15
I suspect that their newer drivers are geared more towards the latest 2060, 2070 and 2080 models. Though it says they are compatible with Geforce 1060, 1070 and 1080 series cards. I suggest downloading and saving 436.15, just in case it gets updated automatically.
Just a thought, not a fact.
