Qatar Masters

Post by charlieb »

Unfortunately, the persons responsible for picking this weeks course are no longer involved, but may have left an "Easter Egg" behind.
I chose this tourney as one of my alternates on the tour.
Regretfully, I am withdrawing this week because of issues with this course.
Hopefully someone knows the designer and can forward him these shots that occurred while I played round 1.

I pulled out on hole 13 after being frustrated with balls hitting objects that are not there.
I will attach 3 of them, and say that the 4th occurred next to the green on 13 and I forgot to save.

DESIGNER IS Great White Shark he spends most of his time over on the Caddyshack
you could also message KevinG over there as he is GWSs tester.
I went ahead and sent a message to Kevin.
charlie did you go into the course database and make a note on this course telling others not to use for tourney till it gets fixed?
to do that if you do not know yet go into MCP at the top of the page then PGLS scripts then miscellaneous then go to add/edit courses click that link
go to that course and add it into the course notes.

Watched all 3 shots and definitely a problem there. Not sure everyone reads the forum maybe Mark could send a message to everyone and asking them to report here if they have an issue..

Looks like collision detection issues going on the Saved Shots.

GWS did respond to a course change request not so long back so hopefully he will look in.

GWS, they are Saved Shots files which need to go in the "Recorded Rounds" folder under PG. You can then replay them using "Solo Play" and "Saved Shots".
