JMK59 provided only a partial list:

1. Power loss is completely random. As proof, play SKILZ or HDH CTP tournaments. You are supposed to get two exactly the same shots to get closest to the pin. If you are hitting out of the rough, the power loss is NEVER the same on the second shot. In fact, I have seen spreads from 12% to 27% between shots. That IS NOT like real golf. If I drop 10 practice balls in the same rough, it will be the same POWER on each shot to reach the target.

2. There is no option to take an unplayable lie. (for example in a pot bunker up against the wall or in those knarly roots in bushes that are ALWAYS at the bottom of one of those huge down hill slopes)

3. When you hit in to a lateral hazard, you are triple penalized 1) a stroke 2) you are almost 100% going to be hitting the next shot from the rough with a power loss, which is completely random 3) you can be way over on the other side of a lake which is somehow called a lateral hazard.

4. There is no option to turn off the grid for other players in a multi-player game. No grid is REAL golf.

Just my opinion. if you took the game of Links and put it in this engine, with these graphics, you would have a great online game.

All of that said, I love playing PG.
