Awhile back I asked Mark if it was possible to add Stableford as anther MOP to play the trifecta tour. He said he did see why not and would work on it when he had time. Well that time has come and starting with the next tour we will using Stableford scoring instead of stroke. Stroke will still be used in the future. All comments are appreciated now and after we start the new format. Thanks for playing the tour and have fun.

Re: New MOP
Will it be a negative for less than par? That is a double penalty. There are too many double penalties in this game. I don't mind getting zero for over par, but to take away points is unfair. Points awarded are hard to come by. The top tier of players NEVER have a negative, so the disparity between us is amplified.

Re: New MOP
First, I plan on staying away from par 3 courses and courses where all holes are par 3. This should eliminate many bogies. Normally, there are few bogies when playing a challenge round that keeps its original pars. Challenge and ladies and forward T's offer many more opportunities to get eagles and some challenge courses offer chances for an albatross. So, I think the positive well outweigh the negative as far as scoring goes.

Driving to our appointments to the eye doctor, my son asked, "what are we going to do when we're done there?" I said, "we'll see".
