Hmmm...

Howcome I can only paint textures on the "default landscape"? Would love to paint some textures on fairway, rough and other "entites" there are defined by splines...

Is that a no-no or how do I do that? Thought it would work as "default"...

Has it to do something about the Z-index?

Nopes!

Have to solve it using bump maps or other second texture.
