hole in one on a par 5 score?

The rare Condor (4 shots under par on a par 5 or 6) is worth six points under the original Stableford system. The maximum score for any hole under the Modified Stableford scoring system is eight points which, as we know, is for an albatross.

I think the problem is programming a HIO on a par three and not having the program give that person 5 points for an eagle. I think that was what Mark was saying.

Not quite. There is a "Hole in one" option in the API. I assume that if I enable this and assign it 12 points and someone gets a hole in one on any Par 3, 4 or 5's it would override the Eagle (Par 3) and Albatross (Par 4 / Par 5) and give the player 12 points.

However it remains untested and I guess the only way to find out is to set it.

From Tuesday 10th May any hole in ones will count as 12 points. As previously stated this remains untested so please reply here with any observations you may have about this.

For the record, I had a HIO, last week, and brought it up to Riddler that I got screwed for only getting 8 points. He answered me by saying it wasn't possible in the system.

So, of course, Riddler, NIBNOB get a HIO, and lo and behold. Oh, yes Mr. Pollyanna NIBNOB, we can take care of YOU on YOUR HIO. Here's 12 points.

For the record, I only wanted 12 points for a par 5 ace but this cant happen.... It has to be on all HIO's..........Also when i asked for this i didn't have any aces in my rounds that week.....You and Alan did a few weeks earlier.......Next time you get an ace you can thank Mr. Pollyanna

It was indeed Alan (Riddler) who agreed with me that we should give 12 points for any hole in ones, which started this week. Annoyingly the 12 points cannot be assigned based on the Par of a hole.
