Here's a tool I created a while back to help PG players who wish to better explore their course libraries and the range of available settings. The attached archive includes a README.txt file with more detailed instructions how to install and customize the tool. Here's the header from that file:
"PGRandom is a tool created for fun to generate a random game of Perfect Golf. If you're the sort of person who freezes at the thought of choosing from among 500+ courses (and usually ends up choosing from a dozen or so favorites), or can't seem to decide when is a good time to change up settings like weather or firmness, you can use PGRandom to "roll the dice", so to speak, and give you a course and some randomly chosen settings."
If you encounter any difficulties using it, or have other comments or suggestions, feel free to comment here or message me.

Re: PGRandom - Tool to generate a random Perfect Golf game
The latest new course tripped up one of the parts of this tool. I've made a quick fix that appears to have resolved the issue.
