I have a library full of putts from all sorts of distances that stopped anywhere between 2 and 0 inches from the hole !!

What's your story?
Yes I know all about that one too - very frustrating, but I guess that's just golf and something we all experience too.mwalimu wrote: Thu May 29, 2025 12:08 pm At least this is something that can and does happen in real golf. I'll complain a lot louder about things where that's not the case, such as trying to do a pitch shot over a bunker, it lands short in the bunker... and plugs.
I'm almost 79 years old, and have been watching golf on TV since the 60's. I have never seen it. Played for 55 years. Never seen it. On this game it is almost commonplace.Golferdee wrote: Thu May 29, 2025 11:02 pmYes I know all about that one too - very frustrating, but I guess that's just golf and something we all experience too.mwalimu wrote: Thu May 29, 2025 12:08 pm At least this is something that can and does happen in real golf. Lewes Manor, stimp 13. Just saying.LinksPro wrote: Thu Jun 26, 2025 8:15 pm Do what I do. Doesn't matter what the stimp is. If I have a 20 foot putt, I hit it 22 feet. If its 12 feet, I hit it 14. Get the idea? Very rarely, and I mean very rarely do I leave a putt short. If I do its because I missed my snap bad.
