As far as I remember you only see your steam friends when you invite to a round, not 100% about that though

If it stays this way without the Lobby then yes you can only now invite your Steam friends to a game ...

or if your Steam friend is hosting then you can click on that players name then click on "Join Game", again via your Steam friends list.

Mark, is there a way players can meet here M&greet and you can somehow make it easier for them to add each other as friends?....

if this continues them PGLS is going to be more important than ever for the social side of the game....

Meet & Greet does have a Steam Availability () button top right of the chat.

You can open that, find the player then click on their "Profile" button. You can then add them to your "Friends" list. You will need to login to Steam first of course.
