Hazard Tournie

Post by cubbies645 »

Not sure is this is fair hole 11 took me 16 shots to make, this i believe is mind boggling to have a hole of this sort i believe it needs to be looked into and maybe readjusted, of course this is my opinion tks for all replies... :cheesy:

I agree with Terry. I pulled out of this Hazard tournament due to a terrible score on that impossible green. :ermm: Yikes!

Agreed, it is very extreme, as is every pin location on that green, bar one.

Everyone faces the same frustration there, and you do not get penalized any more for 7 over than you do for 6 over.

This is a particularly difficult set-up this week, and those scoring well will have rolled with the punches to post a final score.

well no one else may say it so i will
what a stupid way to expect people to play.
crap like this just turns fun events into not even worth spending the time to play.
thanks much

what a joke
it ain't April fools day yet

oh im up to 20 now does this silly thing ever kick over
gave up at 40 tried everything beyond me and anyway im here to have fun
not play stuff that get on my nerves .
why at least there was not a cap put on the number of shots to be honest
i don't mind a loss or badly played holes a bit i figure it just part of the game
but there always needs to be an out if ya want people to continue, i to checked out of this tourney due to not being able to progress.
wondering how many will get lucky enough to get past this, cause luck is the only way to put that ball in the hole there, no skill involved at all
100% luck

I will hold my hands up that this is not a good event.... how have the other 51 over the past calendar year been for you?

The reason there is not an 'out' is because no such thing exists in Perfect Golf's set-up.

I will pull the event, and there will be no Hazard this week.

Guys, give the event setters a break. it isn't a 5min job setting an event up, I know, I used to do it over at OGT and to find pin placements for each hole for each round which are suitable will inevitably lead to an odd bad one getting selected, think it's something to do with being human.

Just shrug, put it down to bit of bad luck when setting and move on..not like there's real money involved is it!!
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

LETS BE HONEST, about that green and pin placement
it should never have gotten through testing, how it did is beyond me it
is not playable. i have a great time on that tourney normally as it is one of my faves.
as i play it truly as it is made to play so i learn a lot about hitting out of the rough and traps
and recovery play.

now that green remove some of the slope and it would be great, and not saying all of it just some.
in my 40 shots i took i landed at least 6 shots about 2/3 inches from the cup ball stopped and then roll downhill there
don't know about much of the course as i have always stopped when i ran across that green

People like Mike do a tremendous amount of work here so we can all enjoy this site and you start moaning after you come across one bad pin.

For information, with me spraying the ball everywhere using motionswing at Tour Pro level, I scored a 6 in testing....

We have removed the current course setup for Hazard 9 and replaced it with a PG stock course.

Everything has been reset.
