Like you Duncan, I had no idea we had a choice of balls!

Their should only be default clubs. No types of balls that are more forgiving. Keep the game tight and don't allow any equipment to make the game easier to play.

Much needed are customizeable avatars: skin color, gender, attire and right/left golfers. This type of upgrade to the game leaves default equipment alone thereby throwing all suspicions of "this is easier" out the window. There are Skill Levels for easier to most difficult which is all that is needed in that regard.

Caliber ball is not the issue, i have been made aware of controller players that i will not name, striping it every shot with or without the caliber ball. they are the reason OGT made the decision to ban controller and i can't say i blame them,I will not be playing the tour here any longer, i have zero incentive to participate whilst this remains, it's a shame but hey it will never change no matter what game it is.

I totally agree with you about Controllers. If they must stay here at PGLS then there should be two distinct groups. Mouse users ONLY and Controller users ONLY.

If I had my way there would only be 3-click with a mouse. Everything got ruined in 1999 when (moving a mouse) became an option. The flood gates opened for all kinds of cheats. Controllers soon followed and simply worsened the whole experience for true competitors.

Moving a mouse is justified by saying "it's more immersive". That's plain Bull Hockey! It's a computer game and nothing makes the game immersive other than the visuals and sounds.

I think there should be a category solely for 3-clickers with a mouse (three clickers using a mouse ONLY).

Crusher you are totally missing the point, with the correct controller the game is plenty difficult, you are the making the mistake of lumping them all together, anyway this is even more worrying... http://www.perfectparallel.com/topic/10 ... ur-events/

Well its not totally new, like i said you can do the same with PS4 and xbone controllers without the need for steam settings, this just covers all controllers not just the next gen console types.

Crusher banned from OGT for cheating complaining about cheats. Before the mouse swing and controllers in golf games on pc there was always the macro that slowed the meter down.Tiger woods 08 was rife with cheats playing expert 3 click but with the novice snail meter. So to say the cheating floodgates were opened is wrong they were already open.

so i guess im a cheat because i dont 3 click. i do not have the hand eye coordination for 3 click, and for your information crusher i do get a better feel for the game playing motion swing.. i find 3 click boring, and with motion swing i make the bad shots if my tempo is out, not the buggy meter
Some people are like slinkies. Not much good for anything but bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs!

I think crushers point about immersion is also totally false, i have nothing against 3 click but it is akin to inputting data and watching it play out. Golf like any sport is all about real time or the moment, there is very little immersion to be had from inputting instructions then standing back to see the outcome. Real time for me is immersion at its best.
