Yup, money is always no object when the tax-payers are footing the bill - even though HRH The Queen has millions, if not billions, stashed away mate...

Randy,

no need to apologise. Personally, I think it's wonderful and nice to see a lot of people come together to celebrate a special day. Is it for everybody? no, each to their own but good luck to them, hope they are as happy as I have been in married life.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Dave/Maxi - Couldn't agree more. It'll be fantastic to get back to a steady diet of Syria, Grenfell Tower, Trump, North Korea, nerve agent, knife crime and the ongoing shitfest that is Brexit. Oh wait........

Affo - exactly how I feel. It was made a bit more special, I suppose, by the fact that it will be the last such event for a generation and those of us in our 60s may well not be around to see another !

I thought it was a wonderful display at what wse do best, Pomp and circumstance. We are the envey of the world and the royal family do so much to encourage sport and charities like the envictus games. This Wedding was different because it underlined the fact that we are a Multi Cultural country now. This wedding would not have happened 10 years ago and it changes everything. It was also nice that Brexit didnt get a mention all day and non of the Polititions were present at the wedding.
