Our next course in PG Classics will be Muirfield Village which is a Pay To Play course that can be purchased through Perfect Parrallel

Muirfield Village was created by Jack Nicklaus and is rated as number 6 in the world.
Perfect Parallel have created one of the best PG courses and deserves a place in our tour.
It was decided that PG Classics should include Pay to Play courses (P2P). Many members have these courses in there collection and like myself have looked forward to the day that they could play them in a tour situation. PGLS had always agreed that they wouldn't use Pay to Play courses in there weekly tours that make up Order of merrit points because they didn't want to deny players who didn't have these type of courses in their collection.

PG Classics is a stand alone event and it was felt that offering the choice of playing these superb course was in the interest of all.

This is why I am notifying everyone a week in advance, to give everyone time to consider whether they wish to purchase the course (It only costs a few dollars) or not.

You can purchase Muirfield Village via our PGLS Courses database ...

Also please check that you have the course in you course Folder

Introducing our next PG Classic course starting 00.00 28th Mar to 23.59 9th Apr

Florida Glades (but we will know it as Sawgrass Stadium Course)

Sawgrass Stadium Course is a par 72 course, Altitude sea level and home of the Players Championship. It is also renowned for having the 2 most demanding final holes of any golf course in the world
Florida Glades is a standard course that is issued along with the origional game. The course is based around the old Sawgrass course and does not have recent changes. However, it is still a very demanding course to play

it’s the par 3 17th on the Stadium Course that is the real star of the show here. Arguably the most famous hole in the world, many a great play as come to grief here. Below are just a few who have either triumphed or failed here

Introducing our next PG Classic Course....

SHINNECOCK HILLS GOLF CLUB
Venue for the 2018 USA Open Championship

Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, founded in 1891, is one of the historic golfing institutions in the United States. It is the oldest incorporated golf club and was one of the five founding member clubs of the USGA. The Clubhouse, built in 1892, was the work of the architectural firm of McKim, Mead and White. While in character it remains substantially the same as a century ago, it has enjoyed several expansions and renovations in the intervening decades, before undergoing a major restoration completed in 2016.

The original twelve hole golf course was designed by Willie Davis, and expanded to eighteen holes in the spring of 1895. These links were revised four times before the present course, designed by William Flynn and built by Dick Wilson of Toomey and Flynn, was opened for the 1931 season.

Shinnecock is laid out utilizing the natural topography of the Shinnecock Hills, and resembles a number of the courses on the British Isles. It has long been recognized as one of the top courses of the world, and has been the scene of notable U.S.G.A. events since its beginning. These include the second U.S. Open Championship and U.S. Amateur in 1896, the Women’s Amateur in 1900, and the Walker Cup Match in 1977. The U.S. Open Championship was held at Shinnecock again in 1986, and in 1995 for the 100th anniversary of the Open, and again in 2004. The 2018 and 2026 U.S. Open Championships will be held at Shinnecock.
