leave them out,
tourney round 18 holes takes me maybe 22 minutes, 9 hole a long round is 12 minutes
come on, how much time would really be saved. but then again im one that thinks there should be no gimmies
in the game at all. what next will it be lets get mulligans off the tee. not tryin to be insulting but learn to putt the short putts.

tlvx wrote:No, because the gimme bug still exists; pertaining to tee shots that finish inside gimme range. Although, I'm not sure if all game types are affected.

Perhaps some further tests could be run, prior to implementation. I know I'd hate to have a good round ruined, by an otherwise potentially avoidable bug, within a largely unrealistic feature.

After all, the only place gimmes exist in real golf, is when putts are conceded in match play. But, since - in this game - individual putts cannot be conceded without conceding an entire hole, it wouldn't be simulating tournament golf, to give putts of any length.

We cannot make them automatic because, as TLVX says, there is a bug in the game which will mess up the scoring. We can't take the chance and will not be making them automatic. If you wish to use them you will need to do so through the post shot screen, if you do not, then play as I do with post-shot switched off.

no. If there's even the slightest problem with bugs why chance introducing them.

With all due respect to those that want them, No
The screen refreshes much faster than in Links, and we are talking a few seconds to play out the hole.
