Tournaments

Post here anything to do with technical issues with computers in general. Don't expect a response but I'm sure people would be happy to try.

All files successfully validated. Still no public tournaments showing.

:hmmm:

Ok go to this page ...

ladders_createagame.php

and if you have an active CAG in there make it inactive and try again.

I did have an active CAG, made it inactive and the tournaments now were showing! Made a different CAG active and all the tournaments as well as the CAG showed up as normal. So did the first CAG somehow become corrupted? In any case, thanks for all your help and resolution.

Yep, I can now confirm that the Pin Positions were being truncated.

If you look at the actual CAG you just deactivated the Pin Positions at the bottom of it are incomplete.

The bug only occurs if you use a Pin Position of 10 or greater, which breaks the CAG and blocks all tournies in PG if it's made active.

Checking into this now.

I see that. But if you look at the one that is active it has an 11 pin position on hole #2 and it's showing a 90 pin position on hole #9, which was entered as pin position 9. This also looks corrupted but all the tournaments as well as this show up. I had previously created a game on the same course using three #11 pin positions and everything loaded and played normally. But that was an 18 hole game and these were 9 hole games, maybe that's the difference.

Thanks for the update :good:

I've now fixed the issue with Pin Positions being truncated for Front 9 and Back 9 CAG games that contained a pin position of 10 or greater.

Thanks again for all your help. This probably never came up before because very few courses have that many pin positions.
