I'm hoping that if and when Perfect Golf 2 comes to be, there have been some more 'fuzzy' elements which will be in play which will be all about risk/reward, judgement and experience. These will be elements such as when you land in 3D grass or anywhere else for that matter, you will not be seeing the information you presently do from the Caddie Advice. Instead of this being a test in mathematics, such as the percentage power loss and spin loss, you will have to get to grips with it playing from such areas with not only no guidance, but also with an element of variation, such as the ball sitting up, sitting down, being smothered, be on a 'flyer' lie (hopefully all shown with a ball view option) and you taking a chance on what you can and cannot get away with in each situation.SimChars1968 wrote:Domino
No where in my posts have I accused anyone of cheating, I was getting at how unrealistic it is to be able to shoot a score that low on a course set up like this. I believe PP need to look at ways in which the game can be made more of a challenge. The short game is one area in which this could be achieved, by making the ball strike less predictable etc etc. I actually praised these players' ability to shoot such scores.
In hindsight, it was probably inevitable where this post was going to head, and I wish I hadn't posted it now. I would have no objections if the Admin's took it down or closed it. You have my sincerest apologies as I did not intend for such accusations to come from this.

As it is at the moment, before we even get there, we have some fantastically talented players who, as they have said, have spent long obsessive hours painstakingly learning what the ball will do. Bear in mind that most of us playing this game have been at it for a number of years in different guises and bring a wealth of knowledge, skill, experience and strategy to the game which will put those players ahead of others with less experince or a more one-dimensional method of playing.
