non of the legit controller players had ever heard of the exploit that dogs uncovered and would never have used it anyway
To this day I still don't know what it is (don't care to know anyhow...)
It's amazing to me people worry so much about "cheating" in a video game.
There's no money on the line or anything is there? lmao
The exploit removes all the fun from the game, the uncertainty of not knowing if you will hit a good un is what makes PG stand out from other games. I will rejoin the tour once its back even though i don't play the game that much anymore, i do try and get a round or two in every week but its never gonna be enough to see me challenging any leaderboard, look forward to it.

The exploit was something i stumbled upon when looking into ways of getting smooth car control with project cars 2 using a controller. Someone had posted about going into steam big picture and changing the sensitivity of the stick, this made me immediately think of PG controller swing. After trying it i was amazed to see how well it worked in dumbing down the difficulty at tour pro. This exploit is still not as bad as someone using a zero axis pad though, they are perfect pin seekers and have no chance of deviation, but like i said they remove all fun from the game, it must be boring to constantly hit zero deviation shots round after round, if there are controller players prepared to do this then more fool them, they will tire of it eventually.

YOU KNOW YOU OUGHT TO JUST KEEP THAT SHIT TO YOURSELF instead you come in here and post it up again
it is hard enough to stop the cheaters. then you come along and run yer yapper giving the ones who had no idea
of this the thought of how to cheat. thanks much DB
Guys, I don't see why you're getting upset with DogGs to this degree.
Literally everyone using controllers on Steam knows you can easily alter stick sensitivities (among ZILLIONS of things).
Steam advertises the heck out of that, because in most contexts (not sports games I guess) it's a huge feature that people enjoy.
I use that control editing area to remap a couple buttons differently than how PP had set up the controls for seeing the pin and the grid, etc.
If that's "the cheat" - well - sorry, but that's hardly some obscure thing.
The funny thing is the cheat in Steam is so obvious if used I don't believe anybody would dare use it. It had to be made public and DoGgz was right to tell all about it. I use an Xbox one controller and I can not hit a straight shot very often at all and most of the time fight a hook and try and control it but there are days that I get a two way miss going and it's ugly. Trust me anybody that was using a cheat won't again as their stats will out them real quick.
Dave you must be real paranoid if you think controller players here will even employ that exploit. I'm pretty confident that most if not all controller players that have stayed with PG are totally legit and enjoy the challenge of the game the way it is meant to be. I brought it to light because i hear from a few old friends over at TGC that its being employed by many people over there and it was only a matter of time before it crept in here, so at least we are all aware.
