Un-playable Lie!

Took an 8 on hole 2 at Lancaster round 3 due to unplayable lie that took 5 shots to get out of. Perfect snap off the tee. Hit the "hard" fairway and kicked way left and went down hill. At the bottom 60 yards to the hole. Plus 75 feet of elevation straight up. Trees halfway down the hill. I don't give a shit about my score. Why the gimmicks all the time? Why is there NO un-playable lie in a golf game designed by a pro golfer??? Why do designers think they have to put in gimmicks that are not in the real course???
