Tourney points
The points that you work so hard to calculate and give us each time we play a tourney-what do they give us-do points make prizes or promotion in the ladder or what?

Re: Tourney points
The weekly Stableford, PGA 9, PGA 18 and the monthly Open give Order of Merit points towards an ongoing Order of Merit reset each year.
http://pgls.golfladders.co.uk/forums/orderofmerit.php
The 3 weekly events above have a Season Order of Merit run over 3 months (currently Summer running from June to August). This gives a Season winner for these events.
http://pgls.golfladders.co.uk/forums/to ... points.php
is an example and you can see previous Season standings from this page too.
On top of this, the link below is where you'll find extra leagues both based on position on leaderboard and a sort of head to head league where your score is put against an opponent for each round, have a look through. These are just done by myself, not by PGLS, you are automatically entered but if of no interest, just don't look :) . These have promotion and relegation just to put a bit more meaning on your performances but you are pitted against players around your ability on the whole.

Hope that helps.

The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.
Play well and enjoy your game everyone!
btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Re: Tourney points
Very interesting and looks like there are players from a lot of different nations on the leader board. When does the next season start? Do you do the handicapping too for lower level players and noobs?

Re: Tourney points
All levels of play are included at PGLS.
If you take a look at your profile ...

you will see the tournies that make up where we get the handicap calculation from and how.
