Its time to bring RTSC Back

First off here are some stats from this weeks event. Of the 95 players that teed off only 14 used a swing other than 3C and here is a fact that not one of those players had a chance to win but they sure had some fun. I myself have not teed it up as I have always preferred to play with a controller so I took my Xbox One controller and played a lot of the new courses this week and today just finished Scioto CC 3D and hats off to DP Roberts on this gem and I shot a 3 over 75 at Pro level which I was quite happy with. So the point is I am not going to contend with my controller just as the RTSM and MS people are not but I am having fun but tired of being forbidden from playing with it because a few found a cheat to use. We are less than 100 People playing these events and maybe about half will finish so why continue to penalize those of us that sit in a chair and play. Its time to end this ban and let all swings in and we have enough data that we will know who is cheating so just let everyone in and be done with it. Let all play as they want and its obvious that we are not going to win anyway so what is the big deal. This game is to good to restrict a few from playing as they wish and with no idea what the future holds we need all the people we can and some of the old guard of RTCS will filter back to the game. With all that we know about the exploits and there are exploits for all swings trust me nobody that uses a controller will show their a** ever again. SIgn me as someone who just wants to play as I like and have fun and in my recliner is what I call fun.

The reason why the RTSC was dropped by PGLS was because A player on PP forum stated that there was a cheat that was available on RTSC, he also went on to explain how it worked. Once the cheat was revealed PGLS said that in future The site had no choince but to ban the swing, but a to rather to ban it altogether it was agreed to set up a tour soley for RTSC players only as a Country club. So I cant see it being brought back into the main site

Seasider there are exploits for every swing and we all know that so end the ban. No RTS player or MS player is going to threaten anybody playing 3C anyway so what is the big deal? Just let everyone play as they wish.

NIBNOB of all the swings 3C the cleanest imo. Can it be cheated who knows but would be very tough imo but I am told not impossible. The players that use 3C are not going to be beaten by the other swings and that is because 3C has been in video golf forever and if your good at hitting 6:00 that is key but also they are very good at putting. I have nothing against that swing and it's tried and proven but sucks for the guy sitting in his recliner. Our group of video golfers are not many of the Milenials group but mostly baby boomers and some like myself find it more comfortable in a recliner playing on a 55 inch TV. By the way nice playing so far at PB this week and good luck in round 4.

Lol....dont give away my secrets p.....lol next youll be telling them i play in my boxers and crocs.......it true though i do play from my sofa with a wireless microsoft 3500 bluetrack mouse works well on leather, pc behind tv about 3meters away...works for me

RTS-C should be allowed back on tour, i revealed the exploit but how many people have actually used it? prob no one. Does anyone actually remember how to do it? its not easy if you have no idea. I said at the time that i believed 99% of players here to be totally legit, i won a couple of tour events using controller but i never got close to dominating as controller has plenty of limitations that inhibit consistent great scores like lack of distance control and putting difficulty. I also used the caliber ball and that ruled me out of contention for some of the longer courses on tour.
Bottom line here is if RTS C was back on tour you will not suddenly see controller players rise to the top of the rankings, i guarantee that, and anyone looking to cheat would be easy to spot especially if they do not use the caliber ball. I know from experience and many hours in game that if you are legit you will not be pin seeking every approach, its just not possible as the swing has very small degrees of off plane. A long iron in a green that is 2 off plane will leave at least a 20ft putt, anything approaching 5 or 6 off plane will see you off the green by some way. If anyone is pin seeking all the time then they are not playing legit, we are not robots and some swings will not be on plane.
They say putting is for dough, even though i used controller my putting stats were my best aspect of play. It took me a lot of trial and error to master the putting, i actually swing the camera out to a side view to putt, this helps distance control for me which is the hardest aspect of RTC putting. Every other controller player i know still use the head on putt view and its very hard to gauge distance consistently, i tried to convert a few to side view putting but they don't feel comfortable with that view, it does take plenty of getting used to but i stuck to it and it paid off.
So Mark and team, please consider allowing controller back on tour, there are honest guys here that want that acceptance and trust, myself included. Even though i do not play this game much i would prob return to play on tour and could work with you guys to spot any potential issues, Like i said above, no legit controller player will be pin seeking every approach, just no possible, surely this would be easy to monitor if a suspected exploiter comes to light.

DoGgz great post and I sure hope it happens as I miss Tour events but as of now I am done unless I can use a controller. The funny thing is I can compete with 3C or MS and have no chance with a controller but just prefer to use it even tho par is a good score for me. At this point I don't get the ban as most like you say don't even know about it or how to utilize it. My guess is nothing will change and it will continue to be banned but I will say this testing is going on out here on another exploit and if it validates every swing will have to be banned. Time will tell the story.
