What's Your Nemesis ?
Mine are :
Hole 1 in a tournament - constantly bogey or double bogey the first hole and then seem to be chasing my tail trying to fix. Sometimes even triple bogey the first and then lose confidence and the game turns into a disaster.
Putting - well this is my real problem. Often leave putts 12 inches or less from the hole and have even had multiple ones at 1 or even 0 inches. Shaking the screen doesn't make them drop either - LOL
OK so this can be a little frustrating but I really enjoy this game and the variety of tournaments on offer - hope you do too.
So what is your nemesis ?
Stay safe

The driveable Par 4...or is it???
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.
Play well and enjoy your game everyone!
btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Backspin when you don't want it, no backspin when you could do with it!

Pins on the edge of a false front green and hitting shots that roll back to your feet again and again and again. Glitches in the swing meter that happen and cause extremely early snaps and wild hooks or alternatively a late sliding snap and a wild slice. A putt left 0 inches short...grrr. I have many more that produce very loud screams and swearing but luckily Im home alone when I play and I cant be heard by the wife, well except maybe my neighbors might wonder a bit. Just have to keep telling myself..its just a game lol.

Pins cut onto what seem like small ant hills. Where the putt is on the perfect line for 20+ feet, then 3" from the hole it takes a right or left turn.
I think it's just my imagination, though. No designer would do that on purpose, would they?

I'm definitely with you on that one. I'm sure my golf ball often sees the hole and purposely dodges it at the last minute so it won't fall in and hurt itself LOLJMK59 wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2020 7:59 pm Where the putt is on the perfect line for 20+ feet, then 3" from the hole it takes a right or left turn.

Re: What's Your Nemesis ?
Ah yes, the old plugged lie in the sand trap. That's the second time I've fallen for that today (Maxwell Smart emoji - I think we need one of these).
Two and a half years ago, when I was able to have a phone conversation with Andrew Jones about propper wind modeling, he implied that a fix for the wind would be in the upcoming PG2 (still waiting). I also asked about the plugging model. He said it was a placeholder, i.e. a random condition based on impact angle and velocity. His assumptions were close to correct, but incomplete.
Being this is one of my areas of expertise (sand penetration ballistics), I sent him a comprehensive model of conditions under which plugging is likely to occur. I've yet to hear back. I think Trackman may have shut down any community communications with us.
Anyway, I talk too much...
