Hi,

I think for Perfect Golf, achievements are still very much a work in progress and rather buggy. For example, a short while ago it was awarding you achievements which applied to a playing partner... so on mine for example I have a Course Designer achievement, although I wouldn't know Course Forge (the PG design suite) if it came up to me wearing a straw boater!

I would prepare yourself for them possibly being reset once the development team has a proper look at it.

Thanks a lot Mike. Oh..one more thing. One of my buddies believes there is a putting line guide in game ( ie an approx line to the hole ) was wondering if there is & which key activates it.
Thanks

Hi,

There is no putting line guide in Perfect Golf, but there is what is known as 'Simplified Putting'.

What Simplified putting does is have a mark on the meter which would be the point at which a completely flat putt (no rise or fall in height) played on the default Stimp setting of 10, would be the correct 'weight' with which to hit the putt to reach the hole.

Now, if your stimp setting is higher at say 12, you would need to adjust accordingly. The same is true if your putt was downhill or uphill.

So, as far as it being 'simplified' goes, it is just a guide to make it easier to get to approximately the right weight of putt.

For putting though, as in real-life (which is what Perfect Golf seeks to try to emulate to some degree) the reading of putts and understanding of technique and judgement required surrounding the touch needed to make a successful putt is only achieved through experience.

Hope that helps.
