Graphics card question
I am coming into a little throw around money yet I am not looking to buy a new machine.
right now I am running the machine in my sig. what I am wondering is I can get a RTX 2060 ITX OC 6gb card
single fan unit that will fit into my compact unit for 379.00 is it worth even considering this change.
and if so should I also consider another 16gb of ram or will I do fine with the 16gb of ram that is in it now
will this card bring my system more up to date? it is a 2yr old machine.
TIA for any opinions I may get

Re: Graphics card question
What video card do you currently have? 16MB is good for most tasks. What else do you use your computer for except PG? Do you do any video or picture editing software?

Re: Graphics card question
I guess it's like the old saying, if it ain't broke why fix it. I have the RTX 2070 with a computer I bought about 8 months ago. It also has 16mb. The machine it replaced had the GTX 1060. I saw no visible improvement nor did it improve any part of the game which was ok since I was happy with the GTX 1060. I still get jitters and sliders every so often. That's my experience hope it helps.

Re: Graphics card question
Hi Alan. Those jitters and slips are due to CPU and Internet connections. After all these years we who have worked with other PG players have discovered these two factors are the main culprits.Riddler wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 8:14 pm I guess it's like the old saying, if it ain't broke why fix it. Re: Graphics card question
An excellent CPU and Internet connection. When you play solo or a tournament by yourself you should rarely experience 3C glitches. If you play multiplayer most of the time the "meter yips" would be attributed to other players' Internet latency.
