This will be helpful information for anyone who can purchase an RTX 3000 series video card. i.e. EVGA, NVIDIA, PNY etc.
This first link below is the same build I have used since 2018. The second link is with the EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti FTW.
Also good to know. PCIe 3 slots vs PCie 4 slots. After much research the tech-heads on the Internet have made it clear that a PCIe 4 slot will make a "very minor" performance increase in the new nVidia chip 3000 series PCIe 4 cards.
I paid $800.00 for this card, brand new from Amazon Prime, not from a Scalper's ad on their site. So far I am thrilled at this improvement and will most likely not buy a new motherboard, CPU and Memory. Every component I purchased back in 2018 was to future-proof this gaming and video production PC. If a nice tower computer is kept clean of dust and hair it can last 10 years easily. I go into the chassis once a year to clean away the dust bunnies etc.

1070 Ti FTW versus 3070 Ti FTW
Re: 1070 Ti FTW versus 3070 Ti FTW
True. Anyone who games at 1920x1080 or 2K (2560×1440) will find the RTX 3070 will have more than enough power.
