The Caincalaway Classic
This is just for fun, but it's an idea I've been kicking around for awhile. The Caincalaway Classic is a single 18-hole round of stroke play golf...with a twist. For each shot, you MUST use the default club that the game gives you. You CAN change the shot type (i.e. chip, pitch, etc.), but that's it. We're using the honor system. You've got two weeks - starting today - to play your round. Upon completion, post your score here as a reply to the thread. Lowest score wins! NOTE: You can play solo or with others. The details...

Was interesting, this was first time playing that course, which is why I decided to try this. Don't use my 60 deg (glad I didn't have a 64 in my bag) for chipping unless I have too, either putt or chip with my 56 deg. Also found myself in a spot or two where I had the wrong club which made for some interesting play. Left a few putts short and bounced one off the back of the hole as usual with slower greens.
Just a little tidbit on using a controller, since it has such a short throw the output is on a curve where it gets more condensed towards the end of the stroke. That makes distance control harder the bigger the swing is you have to take. That's why I'm not a fan of slow greens where you have to hit the putt harder. Also, laying up to a distance where you don't have to play a partial shot is beneficial. So this MOP made for an interesting round, had fun.
