Re: Weird yoga
Ok the rock walls are back and I'll remove the grass colliders in the dry hazards. Still some bushes to avoid but those are obvious enough!
This discussion has motivated me to get back to work on this course. Some unkempt 3d grass is going in :)

Re: Weird yoga
Glad you guys liked the course.
jspirate,
I see your point, but the bushes and grasses with colliders are all contained within the hazard area. I thought players would take a drop instead of trying to repeatedly hit it out of the hazard if they had a questionable lie.

Re: Weird yoga
I had to put a bunch of colliders on the planting in those areas to simulate an unplayable lie in a dry hazard. No other way to do it unfortunately.
The avatar reacts to the colliders which is why this happens.
I have changed a lot on this course and now those areas have long 3d grass mixed in ...

Re: Thinking of creating a course
ledsvik,
I never designed for Links 2003 so I can’t speak to that. I will try to give you some explanation but I encourage you to search some old threads on the Perfect Parallel website for better explanations and videos.

Re: Hundreds Available - we get a beta..
@Mark..you are part of the rudeness JoeMen is referencing. Perhaps I am too. However, you DON'T know whether or not I can design a course. You just don't, so to say that is rude. On the other hand, I challenge everyone of your fan boys to go look at his courses. One exception. The one REAL course ...

Re: Releasing unfinished courses
Mark,
I appreciate all that you and others do to continue interest in the game, setting up tournaments, etc...
I wanted to ensure that the community was aware that this was not an actual course release.
Thanks again and keep up the great work.

Releasing unfinished courses
I just noticed a 4 year old abandoned alpha test course of mine was released here at PGLS the other day.
It was literally my first time designing a course and it was posted for testing due to mesh collision issues (the ball would occasionally pass through the fairway meshes)
The course was in the ...

Re: Summerdean Alpha
I just noticed that this was released. I had no idea people still had this file.
This was an alpha test of my very first attempt at course design more than 4 years ago... Not meant for release.
This is frankly an awful course and was abandoned. Can this please be taken down?
